Q: Are children allowed in the restaurant?
A: All Matador Restaurants only allow guests that are 21 years of age & older.
Q: Do you take reservations?
A: We do not take reservations. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. In both of our Portland locations, there are rooms available for larger party reservations - please see below.
Q: Do you rent out all or part of the restaurants for private parties?
A: We do not currently have rentable facilities at any of our Washington locations. Our Redmond location can accommodate some large party bookings - please contact the manager for more information.
Our Portland, Oregon restaurants - on NW 23rd & East Burnside - have private party rooms available for reservations any day of the week. Please contact the manager for more information.
Q: When is Happy Hour?
A: We offer $4 and $5 appetizers during our Happy Hours, every day from 4pm to 6pm and again from 10pm to 1am.
Q: Do you have TVs in the bar? What’s on?
A: We play a selection of sports programming on two 46" HD plasma TVs behind our bars, at no volume. We show Mariners, Seahawks, Blazers and all the major championship games.
Q: Do you have vegetarian or vegan items on your menu?
A: We offer several vegetarian items on our menus, including any of our Veggie Enchiladas, Cheese or Veggie Quesadillas, or our Portobello Mushroom Fajitas. Also for the vegetarian, our Texas Style Nachos or Matador House Salad are great starters, or try our Spinach salad with Portobello mushrooms as an entrée.
Q: Do you have gluten-free items on your menu?
A: We have an extensive list of gluten-free options available, including our Nachos (without steak), Goat Cheese-stuffed Jalapenos, Habanero Prawns, Verde Chicken Enchiladas, Carnitas with Corn Tortillas and many others. Please view our Gluten-Free Menu items online.
Q: Who are the artists responsible for your intricate metalwork & hand-carved tabletops featured in all your restaurants?
A: The table and bar tops are individually created and cut by owner, Zak Melang. Each unique skull is hand-painted by artist and author Ramon Shiloh and the custom made metalwork is designed and forged by local Seattle artists.
